Creating Meaningful and Inclusive Museum Practices

This course discusses the role of contemporary museums in community engagement. It is offered by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) through Future Learn, an online education platform.

The course explores a series of methodologies and strategies that can be adopted to develop meaningful and inclusive museum projects. It illustrates participatory methodologies for social inclusion and diverse community building through case studies and discussions with practitioners, academics, and community members. This course is led by ICOM, an international organisation created by and for museum professionals committed to protecting the world’s natural and cultural heritage.
