In this webinar, digital preservation practitioners describe ‘what they wish they knew,’ before embarking on their digital preservation journey. It was co-hosted by the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) and can be viewed on the official Youtube channel of the International Council on Archives (ICA). The webinar was moderated by Sarah Middleton, Head of Communications and Advocacy, DPC.

Among the speakers were Adrian Brown, UK Parliamentary Archives; Angeline Takawira, UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals; Anna McNally, University of Westminster; Dorothy Waugh, University of York; Margaret Crockett, ICA Training Officer. The ICA is a neutral, non-governmental organisation, funded by its membership. The mission of the ICA is to promote the preservation and use of archives around the world. DPC is a not-for-profit company, whose members specialize in in creating and disseminating digital information, digital archiving and curation, or in developing software and hardware products.
