European Cultural Heritage Green Paper

This document presents essays and case studies on the potential contribution of cultural heritage in transforming the European Union’s (EU) economy for a sustainable future. It can be accessed through Issuu, a digital publishing platform.

The document aims to present the potential synergies between culture, heritage, environment and other interrelated sectors to contribute jointly for a resolute and transformative climate action. It is produced by Europa Nostra in close cooperation with ICOMOS and the Climate Heritage Network, with the input of other members of the European Heritage Alliance. It is supported by the European Investment Bank Institute and the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
