This course provides an introduction to the political and cultural history of third millennium Mesopotamia. It is taught by Nshan Kesecker, a lecturer in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at Yerevan State University through Udemy, an online education platform.

In this course, participants will learn about the history of the Sumerians and Akkadians. The invention of writing, government propaganda, imperialism, letters -- all of these were invented in Mesopotamia during the third millennium.
