ICORP-On The Road project produces documentaries, ‘Camp Fire Talks' ,and exhibitions to showcase inspiring stories by professionals and local communities about post disaster response and recovery of cultural heritage from around the world. It is an initiative launched by the International Scientific Committee on Risk Preparedness (ICORP) of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). It is available for viewing at the ICOMOS official Youtube channel.

ICORP-On The Road meets the heroes of these stories in their own context, delivering their experience in documentaries produced by ICOMOS and ICOMOS-ICORP members. The aim is to raise awareness among the public and enhance social support to protect cultural heritage. Linkages to the Global Goals for Sustainable Development showcase how cultural heritage contributes to more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable communities. ICOMOS is a unique non-governmental, democratic not-for-profit international organisation associated with UNESCO. ICOMOS is an Advisory Body of the World Heritage Committee for the implementation of the World Heritage Convention of UNESCO.
