Intercultural Dialogue for the Management of Territorial Conflicts

This course provides theoretical and practical concepts for the management of territorial conflicts through intercultural dialogue. It is taught by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a private and not-for-profit institution of higher education in Colombia. This can be accessed through edX, an online education platform.

The course discusses several methodological tools and experiences on cultural diversity, multiculturalism, interculturality, territorial conflicts and conflict management. This course has the support of the UNESCO Regional Office in Montevideo within the framework of the celebration of the International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2013-2022). It aims to contribute to the strengthening of intercultural competencies, while promoting social transformation and peacebuilding.
