Description*

This course discusses different strategies for effective collaboration in a multi-disciplinary work and study environment. It is taught by the University of Leeds through Future Learn, an online education platform.

It elaborates on the terminologies and methodologies adopted by different disciplines to add value and create knowledge resources. Through this course, academic researchers and professionals working across disciplines will get the opportunity to broaden the understanding of their own disciplines as they get exposed to the methodologies of other disciplines.

  • Definitions of interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary 
  • Different methodologies employed by disciplines
  • Approaches adopted by different fields of study to develop and value distinct forms of knowledge
