Pyramids of Giza: Ancient Egyptian Art and Archaeology

This course discusses the archaeology, history, art, and hieroglyphs surrounding the famous Egyptian Pyramids at Giza. It is offered by Harvard University through edX, an online education platform.

The participants are taught about the Old Kingdom pharaohs and elites, tombs, temples, the Sphinx, and how new technology is unlocking their secrets. The Egyptian Pyramids at Giza provide an opportunity to explore the history of archaeology. In addition to this, it discusses some of the modern methods shaping the discipline today.
