Description*

This document outlines 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets adopted at the United Nations summit held from 25 to 27 September 2015 for the adoption of the post-2015 development agenda. It can be accessed through the website of the United Nations. In September 2015 Member States of the United Nations adopted Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (UN 2030 Agenda). The new UN 2030 Agenda is an inclusive, integrated framework of 17 SDGs spanning economic, environmental, and social development.

The document describes the new UN 2030 Agenda. The SDGs framework illustrates the integrated, indivisible and balanced character of the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social, and environmental. The Goals and targets will stimulate action over the next 15 years in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet.
