Understanding Diversity and Inclusion

This course develops the attitudes, skills and knowledge of cultural diversity needed to create inclusive environments. It is offered by Purdue University through Future Learn, an online education platform.

Through this course, participants will learn to embrace and celebrate the differences such as an individual’s identity, including race, ethnicity, gender, age, appearance, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, education, and political beliefs. It investigates ethnocentric and ethno-relative mindsets. This course can be taken by anyone looking to improve their attitude, skills, and knowledge for effective work with different people.
